Any shot Cornell ILR ED?

*** PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BE BRUTALLY HONEST. AN HONEST EVALUATION WILL HELP ME SIGNIFICANTLY.

I’m troubled between choosing between Cornell ILR or Northwestern ED. I’ve visited both and I would equally love to attend either of them. The challenge is just getting in to any of them lol.

I believe Cornell wants to see your entire testing history, but then again I’m not sure if there’s any way they could find out that you had scores that you didn’t send.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but 88/806 isnt the top 10%. There is no almost top 10%. That being said, roughly 10% of the first year admitted students are not in the top 10%. Those 10% have something special about their applications. You have 13 AP classes which shows an upward trend. You are in the middle for ACT scores. You have a shot roughly around the admit rate for Cornell I would guess.

Cornell is not score choice, so if you send SAT, then you have to report all test dates. You don’t need to send your AP scores if you don’t want. They are not considered for admission, only for placement in classes once you have been admitted. Both NU and Cornell are tough to get admitted to, so hopefully you have some safeties since nothing is a slam dunk.
