Any suggestions about where to stay?

We are coming up a week early to let my ds run and workout at altitude. Does anyone have a suggestion of a place, long term hotel, cabin, camp, etc… that has a kitchenette at least, for us to stay for a week before he has to report? Thank you.

During orientation we stayed In CO. for about a week and stayed at Staybridge Suites. They are part of Holiday Inn Corp. Located behind Hampton Inn. We had a two bedroom suite with a view of Pike's Peak, with 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, full hot breakfast bar, and weekday dinner buffet. I noticed that many athletes from the Olympic training center stayed there. Very, very reasonable rates, good service and nice and clean. I would stay there again.

I used to live in Colorado Springs, but when I visited there (before and after I lived there...long story), I found that the Red Roof Inn was a nice hotel- good rates, clean room, REALLY close to one of the Academy entrances, and free internet hookup. However, if you want to spend a little more money for a larger room, something like Homewood Suites would be nice (they also give you breakfast and dinner, which is nice for extended stays). Have fun! The mountains are beautiful to wake up to! hehe
