I'm currently a junior at a competitive arts high school in Manhattan. I've always had good grades (current GPA: 98.9%) and recently took the SAT's (2300 score). I also have respectable EC's.

I have a wide range of interests, from visual arts to science. I want to study business in college. Beside the obvious Ivy Leagues and NYU...do you guys have any suggestions as to good colleges I should look into?

My family has a very "Ivy League or bust" mentality. Almost all of my uncles/aunties/cousins have gone to Yale, Columbia, and Stanford combined. It really isn't a big deal to me if I didn't make it into any Ivy League at all. I'd really be perfectly happy if I wound up at a state school.

So, again...any suggestions as to colleges I should look into? I do have a criteria list as to what I'd want a school to have:

-Big city (I've grown up in big city environments--having lived in San Francisco and Manhattan)
-Big student body (New people to meet!)
-Good social setting

Thanks!
