Any suggestions? I know I should be like, done by now...

Yeah, um, I know I should be like, done with my college search by now...but I'm not.

Bad me.

Any match schools you can think of? I'm applying to WashU, Northwestern, and Brown, all reaches. The U of I is my safety. I'll probably apply to Macalester, as well.
I really want to continue to do theatre in college, even though it won't be my main major. I'd consider a double major or a minor, though.
Any suggestions are nice! Thank you.

???
Meaning...? Haha.

I can't think of many schools that match all of your stated constraints and preferences. Even some of the schools you are applying to do not match them all.

Add Case Western?

Case Western?? I don't know much about it, but I've definately heard of it and will look into it. I thought it was more of a science-y school, though? Was I wrong?

no, case is incredible for science and engineering. Also, they have a great music program, though I don't think this means it holds true for theatre. Check out Case, though I don't know if it will fit your specific needs.

Check out NYU or Columbia- NYC would be a great spot for a theatre major.

Here is a good thread on theater:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=166214

Ooo thanks :-)

I personally think Case is the pits: sciency, not a very nice campus, limited social life, unhappy student body, etc.

If you like Brown, Northwestern, and WashU I suggest also checking out Emory, Vassar, Dartmouth (more rural but active social life), Amherst (5 colleges makes it seem big, not as rural as you would think), Georgetown, Wesleyan (big on theater).

Awesome, I'll def. look in to those!!! Thank you so much.

How do you have a 5.0 UW?

Oberlin?

Super-strong theatre programs, but apparently strong in other fields as well.
And it's Midwest.

icierair: My school is a freak and the highest unweighted GPA you can get is a 5.0 (straight A's) while the lowest is a 1.0 (straight F's.)

I was actually looking in to Oberlin! It sounds verrrrry cool. Thanks a lot for the rec!
