I am not clear on what you are looking for. Do you mean what should you put in the additional info section of the app? Read this: http://www.collegeconfidential.com/admit/the-common-apps-additional-information-section/

Do not annoy adcoms. Use the additional info section for something you can’t say elsewhere in the app that really needs to be said.

We were thinking of leaving the section blank because son does not have transcript irregularities to explain.

Has anyone else left this secton blank? My son is interested in somewhat selective LACs, (just below the top 20).

Profound apologies for this late reply (unhelpful for early applicants)… All I was asking was for ideas of topics to write about in this section… e.g. if its only about documents pertaining to your school records or a whole specific topic like the main common app essay?

Again, the additional information section is not for another essay. It is for explaining something that doesn’t fit inot anywhere else on the app. Did you miss amonth of school due to illness? Do have a prized stamp collection? Do have a family memeber you must look after? Etc… There are no “ideas” that go in this section, only facts. Read the link I posted in #1.

@CoyoteMom my daughter left the additional info section blank. She goes to an LAC with a sub-25% acceptance rate and got accepted to many excellent colleges. There is no need to put anything there. Read the link I posted in #1.
