Any thoughts on where I should apply?

I know what you are thinking, why isn't this girl asking this to her guidance counselor? My guidance counselors have pretty unrealistic expectations of me. Alas, I am looking for some suggestions. Reaches, safeties, and especially match schools!

Size is not an issue for me. Location-wise, I am more partial to colder weather but have considered going down the east coast. I would also be open to doing Michigan-ish and even down south (with the exception of Florida or Georgia.. no offense.)& No west coast. My aspiration is to go to medical school so I need a school to prepare me for that. I am also thinking about going into nursing, but definitely MEDICINE. I, like the rest of the united states population, got the TULANE priority app so I am sending that in. I am also applying to the SUNY School at Cornell, the school of life sciences. I think I have a decent shot coming from in state, but it is still definitely a reach. Other than that I am really stuck. Oh, to be ever so indecisive.

Heres a quick synopsis of my stats, I know its not possible to give me accurate advice based on a mere paragraph, but an outside opinion would be nice :-)

Thats about it. Im hoping to get some kick ass recs and to woe the admissions council with my writing.... but we'll see how that goes ;-)

NYU, Vanderbilt, Michigan, Pitt and Marquette. Good luck!

Case Western is a great school for premed and nursing, plus, they give aid. University of Rochester sounds like a good school for you as well.

You might find with large public universities that grade inflation is rare in the sciences. If you're deadset on pre-med or you think that your grade point will be exceptionally important in your future, consider a smaller/private college. Since med schools don't really give you credit for the prestige of your undergrad institution, no need to pick an extremely competitive one.

For a reach, you might consider UChicago, they don't put much weight on test scores, so the ACT is no big deal. They like students who challenge themselves in the curriculum that is offered and who can write very good essays.
