Any tips for a lazy student that procrastinates

Well Im going to be a sophomore this up and coming school year and I've been really lazy during freshman year and unorganized. Well Im asking if anyone has any tips that can help me.
Sophomore year im taking
Spanish III Honors
Geometry (might do honors)
AP World History
English II Honors
Chemistry (Might do Honors)
JV Football
and I have a free elective that I am not sure what to fill it with.

I just calculated my GPA and I had a 3.1 for Freshman year(Including Freshman Football)

im a kind of a procrastinator (thats a lie im kind of a huge one !_!) and now im headed for my senior year yayy!!
But i think the best thing that works for me is think about the benefits of doing my best which means doing my work at the moment and not later and that gets me going.

This may not have helped at all !_! but if it kinda helped u yayy

Ritalin/Adderal

Well, just think “what I do right now will set the base for the rest of my life”. So if you keep slacking, you won’t get into a good school, which means you will have a degree that isn’t impressive to employers, which means it’ll be tougher to find a job in a shrinking job market. Sooo…Yeah.

If you KNOW you are lazy, then you obviously know what to do to change it. Become more organized, do things ahead of time. Study, etc etc
(Speaking from experience)

Due tomorrow, do tomorrow

uh try to take classes where your laziness won’t hurt you as much. also it’s generally better to get A’s in less impressive classes than B/C’s in harder ones - so if the classes where you think your laziness won’t hurt you as much are considered less impressive ones, I wouldn’t let that stop you from taking them…

I would relax your schedule a bit maybe … if you end up doing well sophomore year (3.5+?) then go ahead and make your junior year schedule more challenging.

but given your gpa last year, that schedule would make a guidance counselor raise their eyebrow i think. you know best if you can handle it though.

1 tip: don’t be lazy.

I’m a huge procrastinator as well (and unfortunately, it has affected me at times). The hardest part for me is to just start my work. Once I start, everything flows pretty smoothly. So for your upcoming sophomore year, once you get an assignment, don’t start it an hour before bedtime! Just do it, get it out of the way, and you will have free time afterwards.

Try to boost your GPA to at least 3.5. If you feel determined and want to improve yourself, I say go for the honors classes. They are not that different from regular classes, and will look good for you to say you’re an honors student.
