What a nightmare. They insist that I need to send in a transcript because I took those classes in HS.

I asked why we can't resolve the issue until after a decision is made, but they keep insisting that I get a transcript to them from the CC. Problem is I CAN'T because I have to log into the campus cruiser system for which you need an ID, and in order to get my ID I have to show up in person at the MCC registrar office.

Finally I was transferred to the dean of admissions or something. But she didn't pick up her phone so I left a message. Let's hope she gets back to me and all of this is resolved. If not, I'm gonna lose it.

I had everything in by early January. My application was submitted in November. If this costs me an admission, I really don't know what to do.

I hope decisions come in this week. I hope everyone gets in. Its gonna suck real bad if I don't get in. I rather turn out a winner than fail and lose. Good luck everyone

Awesome, I just found out that I was admitted to SAS!!! However, I wanna get to Rutgers Business School so I have to apply again with a different application. It's quite an annoying system. But I hope to get in anyways.

Yes, that's correct. PA resident and CC student.

GPA 4.0 (49 credits completed, 20 credits finishing this semester)
No SAT because I graduated from high school in a foreign country so never took the test
Otherwise, I have a part-time job, some volunteering, campus activities etc.

Nicely done NYU dreamer. Hopefully we all don't need a perfect 4.0 to be admitted. But I know ill be the one walking away with the rejection letter. My 2 idiot professors decided to give me two Cs for AIS and Cost accounting, Its because of thos bastards that Im not going to be accepted to SAS. They need to be burnt in hell. Anyways, thats great NYUdreamer, you should feel real proud of yourself. You must of worked extremely hard in school to maintain a 4.0. I admire that. It says alot about your character. Good Luck at Rutgers.

Finally, it has been forever! In at SAS Camden, Newark, and NB for Fall 08. All my forms were sent in for priority deadline. I called them yesterday to see if I could check my status over the phone and they just told methat all priority are guaranteed notification by the 15th, I checked today and status was changed to accepted. Im going to attend the NB campus.

You guys have no idea how much this sucks. They're delaying a decision for the DUMBEST reason. And now they're claiming I didn't get all my materials in on time even though the status screen had NOTHING under items required for months until last friday. And it's not like I even attended this school that they want a transcript from...

I had my application submitted in November... And you want to know what the most frustrating thing is? Nobody seems to be able to help me when I call in.

I don't really know what my chances are of getting in SAS New Brunswick, but, I'll give you all my stats.

I just applied for the Fall 08 semester, so I'm probably going to have to wait until the May 30th deadline.

Stats- I attend West Chester University of PA as a Political Science (Int. Relations) major
I am a second semester Sophomore
I have a 3.87 GPA
I am a resident of NJ
I belong to Alpha Mu Gamma (Foreign Language Honors Society)
I wrote a pretty convincing essay.

When I originally applied to Rutgers, when I was a Senior in High School, I was rejected from Rutgers College, wait listed from Livingston, and accepted into the University College. This was due to my low SAT score.

I attend a fairly competitive school, but Rutgers would be the next logical level to take.

I was admitted to SAS NB!!!!
I was planning on calling the office again so I wanted to look up my RUID. When I opened the status page, it looked different, and realized it said "Congratulations..." on top.

WOW I could not have received this good news at a better time. They still want that county college transcript which I'm sure I can resolve. But I am in!

My freshman year GPA was 3.48 (All A's except for one C)
I'm taking 17 credits this semester, no easy classes.
Some work/volunteer experience but honestly nothing impressive.
SATs were 2010, if that makes any difference.
And I am in state.

I didn't get an email, phone call, or regular mail. So CHECK YOUR STATUS SCREENS.
Good luck to everyone.

I think you definitely have a good chance of getting in given your stats. Are you saying that you missed the priority deadline? That might limit your chances.

Yeah I missed the deadline, I actually just applied. This was sort of a decision I just made (to apply to Rutgers). I know it was mistake to wait this long, but oh well, I know that my chances might be lessened because of that.

I actually have a friend that went to TCNJ 06-07, applied to transfer to Rutgers in late June 07 for fall 07, got a response a few weeks later and got in. I believe she had a lower GPA than mine.

I'm fairly optimistic, but still anxious considering all the neuroticism on this board, hahaha. The only things working against me are my SATs which were somehow automatically reapplied since I already applied to Rutgers a couple of years ago. And also that I've waited to apply so late.

I'm thinking my high GPA and the four year University that I'm applying from might help my chances though. Ah, I'm going to get really nervous now.

Once again, congrats njd! From what I've read, this has been a long process for you. But, finally some positive resolve!

oh my god, everyones getting answers nowwww all of a sudden!!! still havent gott mine. and im getting sooo nervous now =(

i feel like my high school GPA and my SAT's are gonna outweigh my college GPA of 3.8 gpa/deans list. and this is only my second semester in college so i really feel like theyll look at my SAT's still if anything. im so scareddd =(

it doesn't matter how early it was sent in, as long as it was before the priority deadline, they only look at everything after they are done with the high school apps, and by then everyone has sent in their papers.
