<p>If my posts have communicated that OOS students are not welcome at UNC-CH, that is most certainly a misinterpretation. As I've already stated, I don't know of any bad feeling whatsoever between in-state and out-of-state students. I personally object to the legislative scholarship provision, which I won't describe here, and want to see it overturned. My beef is with the North Carolina General Assembly and the people at UNC who created this policy, not with out-of-state students. As I've also previously posted, the students who are awarded these scholarships are obviously very bright and will be an asset to the University.</p>
<p>I don't know how to make this any more clear, but again, if anyone wants to quote anything that I've said, preferably in the thread in which it was originally posted, that they've interpreted to say that I have something against OOS students, I'll be happy to clarify.</p>
