Any way that I can get into SFS?

Hey guys! I’m uber concerned about getting into Georgetown (my top choice) and I really don’t think I have any chance at all…
SATs: 2170 (retaking)
ACT: 31 (retaking)
SAT II: US history 750, will be taking Lit and Math II this June
UW GPA: 3.7/4.0
W GPA: 4.65-4.7/5.3 (this is awful, i know, i screwed up freshmen/sophomore year)
No rank at my school, but top 20-25% most likely
APs: US (5), World (4), taking 5 AP classes this year, will have taken 11 by graduation
Awards: State finalist for a yearbook writing competition

EC: Founder & president of Greenpeace, Secretary of Global Citizen, Key Club, Varsity Cheerleading, chair for Model UN, debate, student council, best buddies, TedxYouth (finance manager for a big event at my city), Vital Voices fellow, volunteer at my church and hospital

Teachers recs will be excellent, already asked my two teachers (they love me, basically only thing going for me right now)
Counselor rec will most likely be generic
Essays will likely be great

Ethnicity: Asian Female
Uber competitive public high school, sends tons of kids to top 30 schools each year
Hooks: first generation??
Plan on majoring in International Political Economy and International Economics

Hey guys, I would really appreciate some feedback from gtown students or anyone really!! Thanks again

Everything looks fine, just work hard on your essays

Hey blueberry 16, I’m a rising junior at Georgetown. Definitely get those test scores up (keep in mind Georgetown does take into account how many times you take the tests. So make sure to hit like a 34 ACT the second round because taking it more than that can end up hurting you in their eyes)! Your ECs look pretty good though. Just make sure your personality shines through your essays!

Doubling in the SFS isn’t a great idea unless you won’t be doing an intensive language. I also don’t understand the IPEC IECO combination.

Make sure you can afford Georgetown. As others have said, work on your scores.

agreed, get as higher as you can on ACT , I would say 35 out of 36 and GPAS make it to at least somewhere on 3.85-3.95 if possible.

You can’t double major in the SFS in any case

I know people who come very close to meeting your profile and are in the SFS. Your weak point is likely in GPA, but the best way to compensate for it will be on test scores and doing well on the SFS specific essay. If you want to go to Georgetown and you’re sure about it then you should apply Early Action to demonstrate interest. EA is a much bigger hook than many colleges will admit and can compensate for the weak-ish GPA. In a perfect world you’ll get really lucky and pull that SAT score up to having a 23 at the front of it or get the ACT up to a 35 but you have a shot as is I’d say.
