I have a 32 act and a 2170 sat, I plan on retaking both. My ECs=founder and president of a Greenpeace chapter at my school, secretary of global citizen, varsity football cheerleading, key club board member, Model UN, debate, student council, best buddies, and Ted Talks at my school. My UW gpa will be a 3.77 and weighted will be a 4.7. I will have taken 11 aps by graduation. I have gotten 5 B grades (2 freshmen year, 3 sophomore year; SUPER UBER WORRIED ABOUT THIS). I’m a female asian and I go to a very very good public high school with most of the kids going to top 30 colleges. My teacher recs are very good and my counselor one is pretty good (i think). I plan on majoring in econ & finance or international business with a minor in poli sci
Colleges I plan to apply to:
Georgetown (1st choice, EA)
Boston College
Boston Uni
Emory
W&M
USC
UCLA
Northeastern
GW
NYU
my SATs are slight worse yet I think I have a decent shot
I do beleive your scores are around the median/average
I think all you have to do is show “passion” (whatever that means) for your tentative major and college (your doing sfs, i assume?) at georgetown, and you have a better chance than most
i think your junior year scores are most important anways, upward trend always looks good
on the other hand… your asian… so idk
edit: Wow, ted talks?? thats so cool
