Been a bit worried since NYU hasn't sent any confirmation that my application is complete (except an auto message saying the common app and supplement was completed). Any way to make sure my other forms have arrived?

Thanks :D

nope they will tell you if there is anything missing in your application.

You're supposed to get a confirmation letter. I didn't know about this, and figured that the auto-email would be all, but I got my letter today along with an NYU ID.

call the office of undergraduate admissions at (212) 998-4500, if you just give them your Social Security Number, they should be able to check it in less than 5 minutes.

Do they get annoyed when you call? I'm sure they get it a lot

maybe, but they aren't going to hangup on you. If anything, it shows your interest for their school.

they don't get annoyed, that's what they're there for

URGH i still haven't gotten anything.

I found this thread while searching. I STILL have not gotten anything. That's really bad right?

you should prolly call, that's wat i did, and i got my id. :)

wut do u need the id for btw? cuz ihavnt gotten one....nd they didnt gimme one either wen i called them to let them no...

I got it a few days after my application was sent...it isn't for anything important. Just a way to identify yourself if you call them with questions specific to your application. You get your admissions decision in the mail =)

You can also post in their forums (there's a link to it on the top of the NYU Undergraduate Admissions home page). I got a reply within one day

Also, I guess if you didn't get one mailed to you, like me, it might indicate that your application is not complete. I don't know what happened, but my application apparently got withdrawn for WashU because it wasn't complete. I'm worried.
