I can't stand this wait it is killing me if I have to wait until June 1st I'll have already been out of school for a good 2 weeks and I'll have to do so many things it will be a huge hassle. I'm really hoping to hear before my last exam May 20th. Engineers I know some of u heard already and i only put quotes around lucky because you're luck to already be accepted but unlucky because I've heard engineering is a beast. Good luck to everyone.

nope, not yet. applied to marshall

hey... engineering is a beast? WHAT are you talking about?

he means engineering is hard as fawk.

Oh yeah, engineering is really tough for realz... I heard that business is also a beast too right.

no, business is generally not hard. Some business courses in Berkeley are hard because they curve down but the material isn't hard.

hard majors include engineering, anything math related, anything science related.

Hobo, what is your major? Where have you been accepted to so far?

major = business, probably going to do finance or accounting.

been accepted to ucsd still waiting on la, usc and berkeley.

Good luck to you man, i'm waiting for your good news.

thanks a lot man. which school are you leaning towards right now? How is USC's financial aid?

I havnt heard from usc either i applied into mashall as well

I'm leaning back and forth between USC and UCLA (initially my first choice) but USC seems to care me much more; I receive a personal note from the engineering admission counselor appreciating my present on their engineering open house day. USC even sent me a CD with lots of video made by current engineering students presenting their programs, extra activities and curriculum.

By the way, I have received more than 10 regular mails and many emails plus a phone call from USC; USC really care for the students! I really like their admission acceptance letter; it is the BEST one I have seen so far! The "certificate of admission" is such a cool thing!

USC offers me much more grants on the financial aid packages than UCLA does (>3 times bigger) but I want to keep the specific amount of financial aid private.

Have you received their financial aid package yet?

What did you get them? lol.
