Anybody deciding between LA and SD?

After visiting the two I have no idea where I'll end up. I went to LA Friday and loved it and I was hoping I'd go to SD today and hate it but it definitely held its own... I'm an econ major at both and I'm in at Muir for SD. Anybody else in a similar situation?

Yep, me. I was at admit day today for Muir also, but I'm a bio major which makes my decision that much harder because SD's reknown for its bio. I love SD and am visting UCLA on the Honors day on the 12th. I can't decide..

Huh.. wonder if I saw you there. I'm the long-haired blonde kid who wore the water polo sweatshirt.

When you visit LA you're going to have a TOUGH decision to make. As far as the campus goes, I think LA beats SD. But I really like SD's atmosphere.

I probably saw you and you probably saw me, cept we didn't know who the heck we were. I was the asian guy wearing a blue sweatshirt(yeah that narrows it down to like 300 possible people)

I cant decide either. I know UCSD's campus by heart (both my sisters went there) and im going to go visit LA on monday. Hopefully i'll be able to decide tomorow.

UCSD is the only UC campus (other than Riverside) that I haven't visited. I really feel like I probably should have; a lot of people seem to like it. If I don't like UCLA when I visit next weekend, I'll probably visit UCSD and possibly go there.

yeah seriously, im in at muir as well, UCLA OR UCSD!!

i think ucla MIGHT take away ur breath.. chances of that happening is like 90%

i went to ucla admit day and i fell in love with the campus. the next day i went to sd for the muir college welcome thing ... i really didn't like it that much. but i wasn't considering going to sd in the first place so that makes my opinion kinda biased.

I've visited twice... this is just the deal-sealing visit, to make absolutely sure this is where I want to spend the next four years... big decisions!

alright UCLA definetly has more prestige, but UCSD has a better location and I think it is more personal than UCLA because of the college system. UCLA will get you the education, but there is more to the college experience than academics...

UCSD isn't located in San Diego and i heard it is very boring, in terms of things to do.

yeah ur dumb, UCLA;s location is superior while there is no social life at SD

I'm at a hotel in UCLA right now. Westwood seems pretty cool, had dinner there today. Though I'm sure it's gonna be a hard choice. UCSD's reknown for bio and I love the campus while UCLA's bio isn't too bad either and I'm sure I'm gonna love it's campus too. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

You're staying at the Guest House, shinseki?

Easy choice, man. UCLA. All you do in UCSD is work and go to the beach. It gets boring.

On the plus side, UCSD isn't plagued by smog clouds.

Oh, actually I'm 5 minutes from UCLA. Turns out I get a cheaper rate at the hotel I'm at right now than at the guesthouse.

Campus tour in an hour!

I'm trying to compare Muir's GE's to UCLA's. Is there much of a difference?

Are you staying at the Royal Palace hotel?

Nope, Doubletree.
Campus tour was long but informative-cool tour guide.
