Anybody else always tired when waking up?

Avoid sugar (in any form, including alcohol) two hours before bed. It always makes me dream, and I don't get a re****l night's sleep.

Exercise 20 minutes a day, preferably in the morning--it gets your metabolism started. Also, eat breakfast for the same reason.

If you are really tired still, promise yourself a power nap in the afternoon. The power nap should not be longer than 30 minutes, and don't take it in your bed--sleep in your car (while it's parked, of course) or on a recliner, so you don't go into REM.

Shower in the morning--it really helps to wake you up and makes you smell better, too!

i still can't get over my high school life of torture...

if u have problem with waking up, try to do some jumping jacks, pet ur mouse, go to a mass, etc.

Speaking of Zombies, have you ever played, "Type or you die?" You have to type fast or zombies kill you. I tried playing it in the arcade in Japanese but either there was something wrong with the keyboard or I didn't know how to type in Japanese.

i ain't no expert or anything but maybe your always tired cause you are out of shape.

If sauron's suggestions don't work (petting your mouse, etc.), maybe you have anemia.

anyone who normally gets at least 8-12 hours of sleep a night does not have a problem sleeping...exercise and water will help you wake up in the morning...and oversleeping (12+ hours) often makes you feel groggy since you have been asleep for so long

I am always tired, always, always. In fact, my brother's alarm goes 5 min b4 mine does just to wake me up partially, then 5 min later my alarm goes off and it takes 10 minutes to give myself the strength to get out of bed. I barely manage to scrape myself to the bathroom, let alone out of the door. I am not diabetic and am not out of shape. Also i usually get around 7 hours of sleep, hopefully this will pass.

if you know you are getting a good sleep (not tossing and turning, no insomnia, etc...), 8 hours should be enough. I believe you happen to wake up during you deep sleep cycle. I recommend opening the blinds so the sunlight comes in and wakes you up slowly. This has worked extremely well for me. I woke up completely refreshed after I did this. The sunlight wakes me up around 7 and I set my alarm to 7:30 about just in case. Of course this only works if you wake up around the time when the sun comes out.

SUNLIGHT WORKS. Cmon, how did humans wake up before alarm clocks? Besides roosters, of course. Our bodies probably naturally wake up to sunlight, a gradually wake in sync with the rise of the sun.

same here. I could sleep all weekend if I had the time. Never enough :(
