<p>Pioneer is a dynamic and entirely original global independent-study program pairing American college faculty with exceptional international high school students for research. Using video conferencing, professors share their expertise and explore their research with an international audience of gifted apprentices, motivating them to generate their own findings. Pioneer has earned enthusiastic kudos from students and professors engaged in the program since its inception in 2012. The program is now expanding its outreach to students around the globe.</p>
