<p>It’s not my specialty area but here are the basics:
- you’ll be judged solely on grades and test scores (or nearly).
- in some Provinces (States), you’ll need lots of APs or you’ll have to do a preparatory year since Provinces have 13 years of high school +3 years of college.

UBC, Toronto, McGill are usually considered the best for English speaking students.
There aren’t any “bad” universities in Canada (students who can’t hack it don’t go to college but to specific training programs) although they’re on a scale of good to excellent. - Canadian universities are cheaper than private schools but more expensive than your state school since you’ll be paying OOS fees everywhere.</p>
