I'm thinking of joining it next year, but I only found out about it recently through my roommate. Anybody have any experience or first-hand knowledge about it?

"Strange times are afoot, down to the circle k."

Circle K>>7-11

I thought the same barrons.

There is another definition of circle k?

Wawa > all else

Someone from NOLA knows of my precious Wawa? No wai!

At first, I thought it was the convenience store. Isn't Circle K the community service organization?

Circle K's the college version of Key Club. I didn't get involved with it at school, but I'd imagine it'd be similar to Key Club, if you were involved with that in high school. If you weren't and know nothing about Key Club, know that Circle K is a community service type organization.

...Where in the country is Circle K a convenience store?

arizona!!!

california too!

circle K is a gas station in Georgia,.

...and Texas

and washington.

I think a better explanation than saying it's the college version of Key Club would be to say that it's the the college extension of the Kiwanis Club which as several people have said is a community service and volunteer organization.

(And yes, it's also a gas station, lol).

I've been in contact with the President of our local Circle K recently in hopes that my fraternity could do a joint community service project with them.

You can look up more information on there website at http://www.circlek.org/

It might also be wise to look for your local Circle K in your college/university's Facebook group.

I have no personal experience with Circle K, but my friends who participate in it (at UF) seem to enjoy it greatly. They were very active in Key Club in HS, so it was sort of a natural extension, and they like it a lot/find it rewarding.

And, haha, I've never heard of it was a gas station/convenience store. Not in Florida, I guess? At least not around here. (And while I haven't yet been to Wawa, I'm heading to PA for college, and the natives to the area have been extolling it's virtues...so I'm intrigued. Haha.)

Yeah, I'm actually originally from New Jersey, so that's how I know about wawa. I miss it greatly since I moved to NO. All the have in NO are circle K's and 7-11's.

There are tons of Wawas near Swat. Vin, where in Jersey?

Wawa is the best store ever. They don't have them here in North Jersey but when I got to the shore I'm there all the time.

By the shore...look at that.

What's that supposed to mean?
