Im just curious, because Im going to be on vacation the whole july and I wont be able to attend. So Im just curious, will I not be able to get the classes that I want?

you can still log onto Growl.ucr.edu anytime after your appointment to get classes.

good luck trying to get the classes you want, whether you go to orientation or not

So should I register, and then not show up and sign up the day afteR?

sign up for the earliest possible registration and then log onto growl the day after.

I don't know if that is correct advice or not Theregicider.

Wow, there are so many new posts! I'm excited! I haven't had the time to check here unless I get a PM email alert.

I was a Bear Facts Counselor for the summer orientations last year and I can safely say that they are very strict about you not attending orientation. Rewards come to those to go to the sessions early. You get you register your classes before the other orientation groups. If you don't stay for the entire orientation, you cannot register. That was when they had REG PINS still. With the new system, I don't know if you can actually register after your orientation date, I know you are able to change it a few times before they lock you out.

Boo, I'm going to be vacationing in China. Honestly, China or orientation? I would pick China any day.

I'm not planning on attending orientation. Not sure how to figure out the classes business though.

I personally think Orientation is costly myself but if you break it down, it's O-K. For a night's stay, meals until you leave, anything else they give you for free, I think a parent's meal for a day and stuff, pay for the workers, its okay.

Well it's not that important, just get some GE/Breath courses that are available. It's usually a fight in the computer labs for the last few groups.

Thanks Raymond =) How will we know which classes to sign up for? And when does that begin?
