Anybody see the Cal Grant in their Financial Aid?

<p>I am not too familiar with the intricacies of the Cal Grant, but here’s my situation:</p>

<p>Cal Poly financial aid offer: Just loans. Lots of them. No grants or scholarships listed in my financial aid offer</p>

<p>UCLA offer: A very enticing scholarship, plus a VERY enticing Cal Grant. </p>

<p>If I’m getting the Cal Grant at UCLA, should I be getting it at Cal Poly, too?
I will definitely end up at UCLA if they are cheaper, but if Cal Poly offered me that Cal Grant, it would make Cal Poly cheaper, so I would probably go there. I’m not too interested in prestige (for undergrad), and I absolutely love both schools.</p>

<p>Do you know if the Cal Grant is something which depends on the school which you attend?</p>

<p>Does anybody have a Cal Grant listed in their Cal Poly financial aid offer?</p>

<p>My Cal Grant application still says “application is awaiting processing” on the Cal Grant website.</p>

<p>So I just got my Cal Grant award but I’m not sure what to do now. Will it appear on my financial aid report soon? The webgrantsforstudents site says to call and tell Cal Poly what my award was because it is still up to them to decide how much I get.</p>
