Anybody wish to chance me?

My dream school is Linden Hall. But the only thing is--I need a full scholarship. Or at least close to full. My parents don't want to pay much at all, and I know along with tuition/room and board, there's always more costs.

Grades:
I currently have straight A's in all my quarters--one A- in Latin but that's the worst.

Community Service:
I do plenty of community service. I'm in an all-girls club called Anchor Club that does community service in the area, and then a group for Teens Against Drugs and Alcohol. I also do the March of Dimes and volunteered at a soup kitchen on Christmas.

Sports:
I'm not very athletic, but I plan for trying out for the tennis team this Spring.

Activities:
Club wise, I named the two clubs above and do other things like the school's Theater Company (and worked tech, as well as acted in the plays), I also sing in the auditioned girls singing-group at our school, and I'm regular in the chorus. I don't have much outside of school, but that's because there's nothing to do in my town but go to the library.

SSAT:
I'm taking it March 2nd at Linden Hall.

'Hooks':
I'm African American, 15, will be applying for 10th grade, take all honors courses and an accelerated math. My location won't help much--Virginia, but I don't know how many Linden Hall students are from there. The school is also my first choice.

So if I do stellar on the SSAT do my chances sound good or should I try to do more? And if you think so, should I write a first-choice letter? Does it sound like I could get a full ride?

Thanks for your time!

Hurts:
Needs Full Scholarship.

I personally see no reason not to go for it; there’s nothing really to lose. It really depends on what the schools looking for. It’s really hard to guess precisely what they want, so your best option is to show your passions and strengths for what you are good at/enjoy!
You don’t have anything that would particularly hurt you, except for the full scholarship. But as you probably know, that’s not at all impossible.

If you do well on the SSAT, there’s yet another plus. When you say should you try to do more, what exactly do you mean? Like, take up more extracurriculars? Study more?
I would go against writing a first-choice letter, and just explaining to the person you are interviewing with that this school is your first choice, and how excited you are to go there. That would seem most sincere and have the best effect, rather than writing a letter.

I wish you the best of luck!
