We're suppose to take it after AP calc ab and bc, but why is the class not AP?

collegeboard hasnt developed an AP exam for it yet i guess

We have that class in correspondence with a local university.

We also Advanced Math Topics before that though......Its weighted like an AP.

CB sucks.

all the time.

doesnt linear algebra come after stats and doesnt require calc at all?

Not really. Need a little stat tho.

I'm taking it, at the same time as multivariable calculus.

Linear algebra is too easy to give AP credit for, even though it comes after calc. ;)

It depends on which class you take (and where you take it). The real college-level course isn't extremely difficult, but it's not easier than BC Calc. (well, BC isn't that hard). Most of the more difficult topics are related to singular value decomposition and differential equations. Why do you say that statistics is needed for linear algebra?
