@Vikefan4 Congratulations. I also applied there, but haven’t received a decision. Just curious, what was your GPA and ACT when accepted. I’m very nervous even though I think I’m safe.

GPA 3.97 UW
5 APs and lots of honors
Lots of extra curriculars with a focus on the arts and volunteering
3.96 uw gpa school doesnt weight and 30 act with tons of extracurriculars
Haven’t applied yet but am I safe with a 36 ACT, 5.0/5.33 weighted, 8 APs junior+senior year, 5s on APUSH, APELC, Chem, Spanish 5, am currently taking the remaining 4
applying to college of science and engineering with my intended major being chemical engineering
Uh yeah, you should be safe. Go ahead and apply. No essay or rec letters required. You’ll probably get a quick turnaround so don’t delay.
BTW I noticed in another thread you were asking about writing scores. UMN accepts the writing score from one test and the composite from another (if better). It’s ok to submit both tests in that case. Of course, if your 36 ACT includes writing you are golden.
