<p>I just checked my status for the heck of it at school today and found out that I was accepted! :D</p>

<p>well after about 2 months of seeing "we need your personal statement" it is now on "due to an unprecedented blah blah blah" so about another week or so right?</p>
<p>Yes, probably about a week. For me it was about one week after the "unprecedented" response until I received my decision! Good Luck! :)</p>
<p>My D2 has had the "unprecedented blah blah blah" for about a week now. Keep in mind that we just had a long holiday weekend and the responses will be slower now because of it.</p>

<p>FromtheSouth - Good luck to all of you and the others trying to get into Tulane. We are from Lake Charles and D is a freshman at Tulane. She absolutely loves it there. It's one thing to live in Louisiana, but New Orleans is a whole new world, even for Lousisiana kids. With so many kids from the northeast, D tells us that it is considered "cool" to be from Louisiana at Tulane.</p>

I'm really excited to be in somewhere this early. And Tulane is looking better and better to me everyday...</p>

<p>deferred.. which basically means if i get in i won't get any money =[ tulane was the hardest school i applied to but i hate it cause i actually like it i didnt apply cause it was a free application, i ve seen it. anyone know of anyone who has been deferred? chances of getting in..</p>

<p>Jilldmd, I found out I was accepted mid-november and I didn't get a letter until today, so it may take a little while longer. They still may be evaluating scholarship stuff for you as well.</p>
