Does anyone know when Irvine will be sending out decisions? Its either Irvine, UCR, or Cal Poly for me.

i appealed cal, ucsb, and irvine. cal states that they will respond to the appeal before may 1. pretty sure its the same for irvine.

I got a mail from Irvine on April 17, but i sent my appeal out on April 13, so I’m not sure if that letter was for the appeal or not…

same, but i chk the status of my appeal and it says its still under review…

Irvine, I believe, is the only UC to send out a physical rejection letter. What you got was a physical copy of your rejection that was posted online for the original application.

Lets hope they reply soon. =/

did anyone happen to recieve their appeal decision from UCI yet? My appeal status says that it’s still still pending/under review?

Same, my appeal is still pending. Its 5/7 today… what is going on!?

does anyone know why they are taking so long to make the decisions for appeal and how much longer it will take for us to be notified? The SIR for irvine is long past due and they said that they’d notify us before april 30th/may1st =[

No news here either, anyone call and ask when the decisions come out?

Wow, they’ll really taking their time =/ Are they the slowest? Even UCSD/LA came out already! And they were the slowest with regular decisions… I don’t think I would want to go to school that takes forever to do something.

well Mike they really didnt want you there in the first place

Alright, screw it. I have to submit my housing for UCR by the 10th. If I don’t hear back from UCI by them I guess its over.

i got in through appeal. checked today.

merced vs irvine. what do you guys think?

IRVINE FOR SURE.
i live like 40 min from merced and it’s really not that great. the area around it is HORRIBLE…not enough opportunities as irvine has.

since it’s a newer campus, uc merced isn’t very “organized”

Are u joking dude? Cuz u shouldn’t even have to think about choosing between merced and irvine. Irvine is so much better

Brayz-Why would you even bother appealing to Irvine if you would consider going to UCM?

i payed sir n housing already for merced and had myself set to go there and then i get my reply… so now i have to decide again…

pick the place where you can see yourself living for the next four years.
in my opinion, go with irvine because there’s a bajillion more things to do there than in merced.
