<p>One doesn’t apply for the scholarship. One is selected for an interview some time after being accepted to the university (and presumably the honors college). Some invitations to interview have been mentioned on CC. I don’t know if any interviews have taken place. I would imagine the selection process is not complete since admissions apps are still coming in. I hope I’ve anticipated your questions. If I have not, pls let me know.</p>
<p>@jkeil911 you are incorrect. Yes one DOES apply for the scholarship. The process is you receive your scholarship notice and in it you MAY be INVITED to apply for Chancellors. If you are, there on instructions on how to do that online and a generally a deadline to apply by. Then you are notified that you have or have not been selected for an interview. At least that is how the processed worked for the class of 2011.</p>
<p>@jkeil911 I think you misunderstood. My D did get accepted to the honors college and was awarded a full tuition scholarship. She was invited to apply for the Chancellor’s scholarship. From reading posts from last year, I believe students received an invitation to interview at the university (or a decline) on a rolling basis. Just wondering if any of the students who applied are hearing back yet. Thanks TitanMom16</p>
<p>I stand corrected. and you have 3 weeks from the time the invitation is issued I believe to submit the application. mea culpa.</p>
<p>Last year the earliest interview invites were emailed the first week of February and most seemed to get them on the same day, but iirc some were invited later. Interviews took place on Mondays and Fridays through mid-April. The scholarships were awarded on a rolling basis, so if you interviewed later there were fewer scholarships left.</p>
