Anyone applying to the Market and Social Sytems Engineering Program?

Epically. 10char

rower, I hope you’re wrong. I’d like all of us to get in !

Guys, I got in! How bout you?

I got in too!

I got in as well!

I got rejected :(

Dammit! I was so excited to meet you! :/

Don’t worry, I guarantee that you will end up where you’re meant to be. I have no doubt. I really believe that people who are smart and ambitious will always succeed; a college can’t really change that. :)

Hey if anyone here has any questions about Penn, I’m a CS major in the class of '14 (since MKSE has not started yet, CS is probably the closest you’re gonna get) and am willing to answer anything. PM me for my e-mail.

Deferred. :-/ To those accepted, what were your stats? Do you think you had any special hooks? Congrats to all!

Deferred as well… just hoping they wont get as many rd applications to this program as they projected.

Hey guys. So for whoever got in I made a group on facebook. Join!

hi…
is social systems engineering more competitive than other fields of engineering at penn?

Its a new program, so no one knows how selective/competitive it will be yet. But it has its own admissions process, which means the UPenn administration is planning on it being more selective than UPenn generally. These programs usually aim at HYP level selectivity.
