I wanted to try something different so I applied to the Outdoor Adventure LLC. I'm a huge sports fan, but I didn't want to be in the Fitness & Wellness LLC and as an intended Business major, I may do the Kelly LLC next year. Plus, more than anything I want to be in the central neighborhood, so with Outdoor Adventure LLC, I'll be guaranteed this! Just wanted to see if anyone else had put this down?

Still undecided, but applied for housing obviously b/c IU is a BIG possibility

There’s also the Sports and Society thematic community. I almost chose Outdoor Adventure LLC as my top choice but went with Sports and Society instead. It’s $100 cheaper, there’s no application, and there are not class requirements. It sounds really fun, too. It’s in the Northwest neighborhood. Here’s some of the activities that the community has done in the past:

intramural sports
Attended a Pacer’s NBA game in Indianapolis
Took a ski trip
Gone to Chicago to see a Cubs game, the Field Museum, the Shedd Aquarium
Participated in and raising funds for the Dance Marathon to support Riley Childrens Hospital
Attended a faculty lecture on the impact of Title IX
Hosted a Super Bowl Party
Discussed careers in sports management with a faculty member in the School of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation
Taken a rock climbing trip

just noticed you said you wanted to be in central, and i guess this isnt really an option anyway since you already applied for housing. but i was just putting it out there. you can always switch if Outdoor adventures doesnt work for you :)

that’s sounds like soooo much fun. Yeah i was thinking about doing the sports one instead but, oh well, i’m just going to try to branch out to something new if I go there which is looking very good so far.

No matter what I will continue to be a loyal fan and player for clubs/intramural sports…Hoosier sports are fantastic!!!
