Here, still undecided, but getting closer to making a decision, Michigan seems less and less likely..........so its likely between BENTLEY COLLEGE, strictly business in Boston and IU, possibly Kelly, dependind on my final grades according to IU. So I have to visit then make my decisions. Different types of schools, different sizes and totally different places. Just curious who has made up their minds, and if so what tipped you to decide? Also please share what part of the country you are from. Have a great day.

I orginally applied to Indiana as an "Oh *****, I didn't get into Illinois, and that was my safety" school, but since have come to like it, and will definetly go next year. From Chicago. Kelley direct.

It's looking like i'm going to be there next year. I'm not 100%, but it's definitely surpassed 70%.

I'll most likely be going! WOOT! Same as zippo..I applied as a "what the heck..." school just for the hell of it. After I received my acceptance, I did some more research and before I even heard from my other schools I was sucked in by it. I can see it as a perfect fit for me...GREAT business school, sweet campus, and overall it'd be awesome. I'm Pumped...cya guys there.

Got accepted but not going...will be attending NYU and paying their $45,000 tuition each year...dangit.

heh well i got gud news and bad news.... i found out the results of my SSA and i got squat which just *ed me off and made me sad at same time but eh i got over that, after talkin with my family and comparing UCLA vs. IU, ive decided in the long run, it will be better that i attend IU :) granted i stay in the business program and do well if i dont then im f*ked cuz IU in general really wont help me get a job that could help pay of my student debt as opposed to UCLA lol. yea im loaning about 9500 and my parents gona contribute 5000 to replace taht scholarship i couldve gotten sigh i gues im still fortunate to even have choices and have parents that support me. still i feel bad, i feel like im draining their money by doin this so i hope im makin a good investment.

Dcho711, Sorry about the bad news. But welcome to IU! Perhaps you can do like my son and apply to be an RA next year. He is saving about $8000 by doing that. There are also IU scholarships you can apply for while a freshman. My son is trying for those, but won't hear until July. I don't know how much they could be worth.

Let your parents know how much you appreciate them and work hard in school. That will make them feel their money is well-spent. :)

hee thanks for the support susantm im definitely gonna work real hard and do what i can to reduce the cost by applying for the bschool scholarships and the IU foundation scholarships! yea sophomore year ima try to do RA cuz i heard its free room and board and living stipend so as time consuming and demanding as it is, i tink its worth it.

" ive decided in the long run, it will be better that i attend IU granted i stay in the business program and do well if i dont then im f**ked cuz IU in general really wont help me get a job that could help pay of my student debt as opposed to UCLA lol."

Dude...coming from Kelley, you definitely can. I'm sure you'll be in the top of the class like the other motivated kids on here and will be pulling more $ than you would if you graduated from UCLA. Don't underestimate Kelley. As long as you pull a good GPA, get an internships and connections, you're set. See you in the fall! P.S. you can find some jobs on campus.

I'm going to be there this fall, as an English major. I guess I won't be in an acclaimed program like all of you business school guys, but according to rankings I've seen, IU has a top 20 English department, which is fine by me.

Is anyone thinking of doing any athletics, intermurals/club sports, clubs or extracurriculars in general?

I was poking around their site earlier today and I think I will be boxing next year. And running for an IUSA senator seat.

Sweet Munro...I'll probably be doing intramural sports like Basketball and Football. I'm usually up for anything so I'll see. Boxing sounds pretty sick.

I'll be checking out the frats too.

I've been thinking about pledging a lot, but I don't know if I can really deal with being told what to do, even if only for a week or two, by some tool who is too lazy to get his own sandwich.

eh the only things im considering signin up for are the intramurals, other extracurricular stuff and community service. but boxing seems cool, id be up for it make me tough lol. frats eh i dont tink i would have time for tat and dont want to invest money on fraternity stuff not that i h8t it or anything, just not for me.

Everyone should do boxing. I think it's the newest club sport (It got approved in the fall of 2005), so they're probably not going to smack you around too badly. If you're in my dorm (I'll be in central), then you'll be able to pick me out since I'll be dragging kids to the callout meeting and setting up poker games the first weekend.

I want to try to do Ice Hockey (but I don't think i'm going to make the team), Football, Basketball (not my best sport, i'm white, lol), and maybe some baseball or some Lacrosse. So many sports I wanted to do in high school but didn't have the time/didn't like coaches/other players.

eh munro i might c u lol i applied for central neighborhood also. did u apply for a thematic community?

I actually haven't done my housing yet. I anticipate applying for central because I'm thinking about rooming with a friend I know. I might not do that, but I will be in central either way. Did you do a thematic? Which one?

academic community i heard its not all nerdy and boring as it sounds but has serious students ;) or tats what they told me when i visited.

I applied to central because it's close to libraries and some study spots. I don't think I'd want the enforced quiet hours of an academic community, since I actually like hauling stuff to the library to work, but if you play Hold'em you might catch me taking your money the first week.

Is anyone looking into IFS? I'm thinking about it, but I don't know if I'd be able to scrap together $1,000 to pay for it.

going to IU unless a miracle happens and i get into michigan. applied for housing yesterday, preference was northwest. setting up facebook account tommorrow.
