Anyone else ****ed about the Cornell Supplement?

Sooooooooooooooooooo....

I was just wondering if anyone else is frustrated with the Cornell Spring Supplement....because it was supposed to be avaliable in September, but I called and they told me that it'd be ready for first week of October....I'm somehow not buying that. I feel like that's slightly screwing me over because I want to start writing the supplement first as it'd be more specific and then going on to the common app essays which I am at a complete loss with, 'cos they're so generic. And I'm terrible at applications :(
But yeah, so anyone else applying to Cornell for Spring Transfer?

wooooooooooooooooow....apperently, I can't write "****ed"

talk about censorship....oh well.

Oh, also does anyone know if submitting your app, sometime in the middle/end ish of the filing period is a bad idea?

You could probably start writing your supplement essay by writing more specifically about your major. Then if the prompt is slightly different, you can just tailor it.

Also, would it be a bad idea to submit the rest of the application in early October and just submit the supplement when it comes out?

hmm, I don't know.
I think you're best off calling the financial office, I've submited my FA, and some other school forms just so they have a file on me and stuff

didnt they post it online, i mean CALS did i dont know...which one are you applying to?.....travelbook you applying for spring?
i think i will apply for fall...im so confused or maybe spring? but i dont know if i have enough time?

ohhh ok i forgot again::
it is best to submit your application in the begining for the only reason you get to be evaluated first, if you submit it in the middle i think you should be ok....but in the end i dont think is a good idea because you will have other ppl befre you and sometimes they put you in the waiting list and you get accepted by the free space they have....

ooooooooooh.

well in that case I better get cracking! I hope to finish it off during labour day weekend. and send it off on like 17 or something, is that too late?

wait, which supplement is up?

I am applying for Spring transfer, and I don't see any supplements if I go to CAS they just take me back to the main admissions page

well send it as soon as you can, now idk which college you are applying at cornell sorry i havent read your previous threads....

ohhh man sorry they only posted the CALS.....i checked in details unless i missed sth...let me know if you get it!!!! im taking mine easy, applying for fall 2009 since they accept more and i want a teacher to check my essays :(....but let me know how yours goes

btw does cornell have accounting or finance as a major? cant find it on their web

no not exactly but the hotel school has a finance-type concentration

AEM in CALS offers finance and accounting specializations.

It just went up on Cornell's site.

yep just saw it they have t as a specialization, thanks darkstar

It's up on Cornell's site but not yet integrated into the CommonApp.

its basically the same as last year's supplement!! and yay i alrdy started my essay questions!

It's not still not up on the CommonApp yet... this is annoying.

Wow, still nothing today...
