ugh. I sware I have like sophoritis or something
it's seriously the worst year...
Freshman year you're all excited to start high school
Junior year you have a ton of college stuff to do to keep you busy, and you're looking forward to being a senior
Senior year you're applying to college and then can look forward to prom, graduation, etc.

but as a sophomore all you have is schoolwork and 2 more years of the same crap.

^oh how confused you are, senior year is horrible, try having a job, practice, 6 ib classes, and colleges asking for stupid papers, like recs and essays, in addition to regular homework and ib projects being due///that and the fact that you don't have any motivation to do any of it.

hmmm... I came into high school with senoritis. Its just that I use to have a lot of extra-curriculars to keep me busy. I had to do work to in order to have time for the ec's. But now as a junior I quit a lot of stuff.... I don't do anything(other than play halo and gunbound)... I've nearly gotten myself kicked out of school three times this year...wow...I really need to find something to do...

oh no, Fsu-uf, I never meant that senior year wasn't hard or anything, just that, you actually have something to look forward to (getting outta high school), whereas as a sophomore, all you have to look forward to is more work for two years.

yes do that...but try not to get to a point where even that doenst work...and dont get to a point where youve just finished some of the hardest ap exams offered in one year, and a few hours later, all you can think about is going to the bookstore to get review books to get going on next years APs because you forgot how to relax

I got burnt out hard my freshman year. Moved across the country from CT/NY area to LA. I had almost straight As first semester, then I got burnt out and got straight Bs.

I collected myself, got a 3.8 last semester, and will probably finish with a 4.2 this semester if I keep it up.

I just motivate myself by telling myself my "plan" and what I need to do to succeed.

I definitely am burnt out. I am just tired of doing work. I play baseball every day, and when I get home, I want to rest and watch TV. I manage to get all my work done and study for tests, but I have very little energy to do so.

Ah, my AP tests are done so now I get to go finish homework from all those days and then relax with take out from my favorite restaurant and play Sims!

Im a freshman an I'm not really burned out, or maybe I am I do at least half my work in study hall or on the buss ride... but only the WHAP test this year.
