We’re really behind. We just finished the Progressive Era. We have block scheduling so that might have something to do with it. Should I just self-study with a review book throughout April? Will I have enough time? HELP, I’m going to get a 1!

Don’t worry too much about APUSH. It has the most people taking the test, so that means there are more people taking APUSH who otherwise wouldn’t take other AP tests. This greatly helps with the curve.

^Yeah, but if I’m not mistaken, it also has the most content (80 MC, 3 essays). So you do have to be somewhat careful. At least they’re not penalizing for guessed answers this year.

I think you may be a little behind. My class finished the entire textbook yesterday. So now all we are doing is review. But teachers may be different, my teacher has a good record though and i think we finished this fast because we usually would read two chapters a week.

Right now my class is on the chapter that talks about Nixon, Ford, Carter, and Vietnam War.

Currently doing the Great Depression/New Deal

My class is about 2 chapters behind the other one in my school (we use the American Pageant by Bailey)

I just saw on Facebook that the new Direct Hits US History in a Flash for the AP and SAT II prep book is out today on Amazon. I hope I get my review copy soon, I need to start getting ready for the APUSH test.

we’re in Kennedy/Johnson era feminism now ha

I have just read the Table of Contents, Prologue and Sample chapters for the new Direct Hits APUSH book on the Direct Hits Education website and it looks like it will be very helpful whether you have finished the course or are behind. I have ordered my copy to use for tutoring. Can’t wait to get it.

Big APUSH test at the end of the week, I sure hope the DH APUSH book comes this week.

I received my Direct Hits US History in a Flash book today. It looks great, but I am going to start reading it tonight so I will write a review in a few days. Hopefully it will be helpful for my test next week.

I got my copy from Amazon on Tuesday and have not read everything, but I really like the 2 chapters on how to write a DBQ and Free Response essay. I love the DH vocabulary books, so I am very happy to see those SAT words used in this history study guide.

I’m going to fail this exam and you know what, it is going to be okay
Thank you.

Our class just started WWII today; we’re definitely not going to finish by the test. I would buy a book if you’re worried. My teacher recommended a book by McGraw-Hill to study with (I don’t remember what it’s called).

lololol. Yeah. We’re about to hit WWI after Spring break. :///

my class just finished our brinkley apush textbook. aren’t ap exams in 4 weeks? o__o;

Chapter 40, Key Events and Demographic Trends, 1981-2000 was a huge help on my APUSH test today. I can’t believe the test is one month from today!

BTW-There are some great APUSH tips on the US History in a Flash Fan page on FB and they have page numbers that link with the book.

My school completes APUSH in two years (Soph & Junior) so we have a lot more time to learn the material. However, we also have to remember information from almost two years before when we take the exam.

I have finished reading Direct Hits US History in a Flash. I think it is one of the best books I have seen and very clear about what must be covered before the AP exam. It will be very helpful to anyone who has a teacher that is running behind to help get through the end of the course or anyone on a block schedule that took it this fall and now has to go back and review.

There are also 100 multiple-choice questions posted on the Direct Hits Education website that are great.

I sleep in that class all the time. I am past caring.
