We had Spring Break last week and our class has justed started on WWII this week. I feel like we may be behind and not have enough time to review before the exam.

that does seem a little behind (we’re about to start LBJ) so if you’re worried about it, you should start reviewing now, and maybe try to learn the material that your class will have to speed through, like Reagan. hopefully your teacher has a plan, but even if your class is behind, if you work on your own then you should be fine. good luck!

…We’re still on WW1

…We haven’t even gotten to the 20th century yet. We’re covering the expansion into the Far West of the 1880s/90s.

We just finished outlining the Cold War…but our tests are 2-3 decades behind what we’re actually studying right now. Kind of confusing! But I guess it’s good prep for the AP test, right?

Last year when I was in APUSH, the farthest we got was to FDR and his New Deal plan and I still managed to squeeze out a 4 on the AP exam so I wouldn’t worry too much if you feel like you’re behind. Very little of the test last year seemed to come from the more recent history.

dont feel very behind if you are on WWII, we just got to WWI

btw this is in the wrong forum. look for ap test preparation. i think you may have just made a clicking error.

My class just started LBJ today. I don’t know how far ahead/behind that is. I feel like we’ll end up with a couple of weeks to review.

It sounds like you guys are a a little behind…
Our class just finished up vietnam and a bit of the Carter administration and now we are begining to review for the exam

Don’t feel bad about being behind. We haven’t even touched WWI yet. We are in Progressive era. My teacher has a 0% pass rate. Help me.

@OP: My class was in the 1960s last year at the start of 4th quarter, so you should be okay. A little rushed for review, maybe, but okay.

@neorobie: Oh no! That’s pretty far behind… Is this your teacher’s first year teaching? (My APUSH teacher’s first year, she only got up to WWII, but we got into the 1990s when I had the class in her second year).

My teacher used “5 Steps to a 5” by McGraw-Hill. I got a 4 on the exam (and I skipped an entire FRQ), so it was pretty successful.

We’re at FDR in WWII… We’re behind, compared to last year’s class. Ah well.

flashpoint1230: this is her second year teaching. her first year was a 0% pass rate.

Last year, we were pretty far behind (we did Nixon through present in about 3 classes right before the exam), but most of us still managed to get 4s and 5s. APUSH isn’t a terrible exam, but its good to read/skim through a PR book before you take it.

We recently started the 1970s and Nixon. However, we did fly through the a couple of wars along the way.

@slon. I feel you. My teachers first year teaching, and we are at industrialism 1890s-1900s. But I started reviewing on my own a few months ago, and I’m at Reagan. Still it sucks not having a teacher help explain it. Idk what I’m gonna do with DBQs & FRQs. Oh, and my teacher went to vanderbilt. Smh, Lol.

We have a test on the new deal and great depression tomorrow, starting WWII soon. We are rushing to get done on time

We finished Clinton and Bush about two weeks ago. We’re reviewing and outling frqs right now. I know that the other apush class taught by a different teacher just finished WWII and decided to assign the rest as reading for hw and start the review now.

Hey our class just finished the whole thing; you may want to read the Princeton Review’s APUSH review, I found their Euro review a good aid for that test last year (got a 5).
