I received a large envelope from MIT today. It wasn't like an admissions letter or anything. But it made me so happy. Even if it wasn't a big big letter, it's enough to motivate me to work harder now. I had forgotten how success felt, I want to work hard now. I want to really try and get into my dream schools now.

For those of you who feel like success is far away, keep working at it. When you reach that finish line it will feel so good it will wipe away the pain you've felt in the past.

I know nothing has happened yet, but I want to work as hard as I can now.

Was it the 150th anniversary edition of the excerpt from “The Boston Globe”? It was a pretty interesting magazine to read.

I received this packet as well. I don’t think it’s really that huge of an accomplishment.

I take it you haven’t received much email from colleges yet? Just wait… they will start pouring in like wildfire.

How did you get that package? I wanna package from MIT lol

I know it’s not that huge of an accomplishment. But it still has motivated me to stop wasting time and get to work.

I know my 3.6 Gpa is going to hurt me, but I still want to work hard this upcoming senior year.

I got it. I’d actually already seen/read the magazine, though.

do you get mail from colleges? I get a few every day (doesn’t help that I did well on the PSAT) and sometimes colleges like Yale will send you pamphlets/thick stuff. Doesn’t mean you’re at an advantage or something though.
