Anyone else get the Aggie Student Weekend Trip Invite? Coming from Los Angeles?

My son received the e-mail telling him he had been accepted and that further information would be sent shortly His ‘my admissions page’ also says he’s been accepted but we have received nothing else. I found the Decision Day info on line and he has signed up for that and had an e-mail saying he is registered. The other colleges that he has been accepted to sent him tons of info after he received the official notification (housing, finances etc) including a nice welcome package of info but we have had nothing from UCD. Anyone else in the same situation?

Did you get any emails about the local meet & greet’s? That was the first email. He had a magazine and a post card come via USPS. Then he got the Aggie Weekend email and then another email about Decision Day. He has not SIR’d yet. When I went to the meet & greet here in LA on Saturday and the reps said most of the stuff won’t be sent until after he SIR’s. S has received stuff admissions packages in the mail from other schools, like UCR and SJSU but no welcome packages from CPP, CSULB or Davis.

Thank you, yes he did get the post cards about the meet and greet - it was really the welcome package that thought we were missing. This is my only child so I thought it would be the same as the rest of the acceptances. I guess it makes sense though and saves them money to only send it out once the student has SIR’d. Thank, you were very helpful.

@Barashiel7, My was was accepted to UCD via email on 3/15, and just the other day (Apr. 3) he rec’d Welcome package that is dated 3/14. I just posted on another thread . . where another parent did 't get their package until recently, that I think UCD must have mailed them out late. So maybe your child also received their Welcome package recently?
