It's so freakin' awkward, but I'm learning to use it for bragging rights.

I CANNOT get used to where the punctuation is, and I'm making so many spelling errors that in MSWord, if I don't correct anything, half the page is underlined in red. A couple of letters are being an utter nuisance (more than most) to remember, too - freakin' R's!

I've been QWERTYing for as long as I remember, and I'm not about to go through the pain of learning a keyboard setup that nobody in the outside world really uses!

Back under OS 9 (I'm a life-long Mac user) I would use dvorak a lot. The OS had this handy little thing that sat up by the clock that let me switch between dvorak and qwerty on the fly, so I would use qwerty for writing papers and stuff, and dvorak when I was doing stuff that didn't really matter (IMing, surfing, etc). I actually got pretty good with it and it was much faster to type on, but it took a while to get used to.

Unfortunately OS X doesn't seem to have this feature, so I've been using strait qwerty since I upgraded.

I wasn't a good qwerty typist at the time, so I got to where I could go about the same speed in both. I don't know how it would be now as I haven't used it in a few years and have become MUCH better at qwerty. I had so much more free time to learn random stuff like that in HS. That's probably why I haven't found how to do it in X. ;)

I'm a fairly good QWERTY typer. I can even type really fast with one hand, though I'm slower with my left that I am with my right. I might try dvorak at somepoint, but for now, I'll stick with my qwerty.
