Typing dvorak

Does anyone type in the Dvorak format? Is it worthwhile to learn? I would love to be able to increase my typing speed (which is fast enough, but still) and now that I've read and thought about the history of Qwerty, I understand how stupid it is to still use Qwerty in the electronic age.

How does one learn? Just train yourself?

If it is fast on QWERTY already it is not worth learning. My friend reprogramed his comp to DVORAK, so I guess you can if you really want. The reason QWERTY was invented was to prevent damaging of typewritters, so I'm perfectly happy with it.

Don't put yourself through that if you're even decent at typing QWERTY. You won't encounter much DVORAK-only keyboards anyway.

Dvorak, like his New World Symphony? :D

That is SO hard. I don't know how people can type like THAT! I guess it takes time.

HAHA, New World Symphony... I love Dvorak though.
