“Your FAFSA is selected for Federal Verification. UC Davis is required by federal regulations to request additional documents (e.g., tax returns, verification worksheet) to verify the information on your FAFSA.”

Just wondering if this is random or everyone has to verify their FAFSA.

I don’t but from their website it seems to be a random thing. It says: “If your FAFSA is selected for Federal Verification, the Financial Aid Office is required by federal regulation to request additional documents (e.g., tax returns) to verify the information on your FAFSA. You will also be asked to complete a Verification Worksheet, available on the Financial Aid Office Web site, see Undergraduate Forms, and submit it along with your tax returns. We cannot disburse financial aid until all verification and documentation requirements are satisfied.” I got this information from this link: [Changes That Affect Financial Aid](http://financialaid.ucdavis.edu/undergraduate/students/changes.html)
