in the nation****

Naval Academy. It’s really hard knowing I’ll never get in, since there is no other school like it. It’s not just any old dream school, it’s completely different than a typical college. I didn’t even apply, decided to do ED to my second choice, George Washington.

Harvard, princeton, and columbia. But its impossible for me to get in

Princeton University Sigh

I’m a college freshman now at a school that I do love, but it was my third choice. My first two (that I got accepted to), University of St. Andrews and NYU, were amazing dreams but totally out of my reach financially. But, life goes on after rejection, trust me :)

Don’t give up guys! I’m sure all of you are much stronger applicants than you realize
I’m just trying to remember that rejections aren’t personal. It’s certainly going to feel that way, though oh well, at least I’ll know by February.

SillyStokey- that really sucks about aid, but I’m glad you’re happy at WFU I too need tons of FA and I’m worried that even if Tufts accepts me they’ll screw me with money.

I keep trying to forget Princeton, but I keep falling in love with it :(. Also, I applied ED at GW and normally, I would definitely get in, but unfortunately I go to the same insane HS as Diana2012. Last year, GW accepted 9 people from our school. This year, 9 have already applied ED, and I’m almost confident that I am NOT on the higher end of that list.

Vanderbilt is my dream undergrad school. The problem isn’t getting in for me. Its going to be paying for it… and I’ve already told my parents that I’m going to Stanford for law school if it kills me.

My mom can’t argue with that. She went to Yale law :/

Northwestern Medill School Of Journalism… Most competitive program in the country.

Wow, Vanderbilt seems popular this year. I don’t know much about it, actually, except that it has a great reputation and is really pretty.

MiselisM–good luck! I was interested in journalism and Medill for a bit, until I gave up haha.
