Almsot everyone has a dream College or University! SO which is yours? ;)

For a while last year I was really interested in going to a liberal arts college, and Reed was my favorite, but I ultimately decided I wanted to go to a university so I can take graduate-level classes. For the most part I never got into the whole “finding your dream school” thing. (I always thought “dream school” was a funny phrase, too. Who dreams about school?)

I’m a senior now, and at the beginning of the school year, and at the beginning of the school year I started staying with my relatives and taking all my classes through dual enrollment at this mediocre state university near where they live. I’m happy there, and it made me realize that most colleges are pretty much the same and I could probably be happy at most of them. So I chose my college based on prestige/academic opportunities and financial aid.

(To me, the weirdest thing about choosing a college is thinking about the relationships I’m cutting myself off from by picking one college over another. I know where I’m going, but what if I’d chosen to go somewhere different? The people I would have been friends with are now always going to be strangers.)

Georgia Institute of Technology

:)

In my defense, this is how I talk.

UCLA

Hmm, I don’t really have one since I kinda already know I’m gonna go to a UC (or a cal state if I don’t get in). This is because I get free tuition to California public universities.

Penn-Wharton

Stanford, Dartmouth, and NYU are my top 3 dream schools

barnard!! it’s everything i want.

UCLA Nursing

MIT/Cal Tech/UC Berkeley…
LOL <3

Stanford, MIT, if I happened to get into both prolly Stanford.

Stanford, Yale

and for music school, Curtis (but that’s almost impossible haha)

Penn (Wharton)

I don’t really buy into the dream school concept - have a dream life, there are an infinite ways of achieving such life (unless of course, your dream life is being a Harvard graduate, I guess.)

But when I day dreamed about schools, I day dreamed about Boston University typically. I’m deciding between BU and Brandeis at the moment.

I never really dreamed to go to a certain school. Sure, I really liked UCSD, but that was when I let my idealistic side get the better of me.

I would say Harvard because of the prestige, but I visited Columbia this last November and I really liked it (not that Columbia isn’t as prestigious).

Amherst College <3

Those are all nice schools has anyone received acceptance letters yet??
