Yet you clicked the box the first day?

Me! And I'm from New Jersey too. There must be no alumni here or something. It makes me sad.

Yup. I even called UChicago to make sure I really clicked the right thing, but still no interview. Ah well, less work for me, I guess.

I'm in DC and haven't been contacted yet. I guess if we are accepted or rejected it wouldn't have made much of a difference. If we are deferred, then we should automatically get interviews to boost our acceptance chances.

No interview for me... and in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Oh well, it seems like I'm in good company.

None for me either. I clicked the box a while back, and have already applied EA. Oh well...

Seriously? Me too! Yeah DFW!

Ya, clicked first day...I live in germany though, so it's not that big of a surprise

Nope. No interview for me.
They said that there were no interviewing alumni living in my area.
I got my email like 2 days after I requested for one.

I got that same e-mail, NoFX. I live in southeastern Virginia, so I'm not in shock or anything, but I was at least a little surprised. I wonder what "my area" means... I'd be willing to drive at least 2 hours for an interview!

I live in San Diego and I didn't get an email either. Did the people who received emails just check the box? Or did you guys arrange for the interview some other way?

I didn't get one.........but I live here in Nepal so..........
