I have to read Beowulf and do something else with it haha but I plan on avoiding it for as long as possible, or at least until my flight

For APUSH I HIGHLYYY recommend 5 Steps to a 5! It was very helpful but I finished it midyear. And AMSCO! I hated that book beyond belief but I crammed it the weekend before the exam and got a 4. But I had an amazing teacher. We were in review mode for about 3 months. DO NOT use the AP review books to pass the class! Read the textbook. It’s your safest bet.

Ugh I get so drowsy when I look at these books…

^It’s even worse reading an entire unit the Sunday before the test instead of watching football.

How do I motivate myself? I’m just staring at this AP World assignment and then thinking “Netflix…”

Finish a chapter before you can watch anything. :)

Nope! Granted my school starts a couple weeks later than everyone else so I actually have some extra time. But I was hoping on finishing the common app and 5 supplements before school started along with studying for the SAT and subject tests.

everybody who posted, including me, is a prime example of procrastination

I just have to read Ordinary People and 1984 for english (while filling out a study guide), and school doesn’t start for over a month. We always have tests on the summer reading for english, so I am waiting awhile so I don’t forget everything. It’s not exactly what I would call procrastination.

I start in about 2 weeks from now and I have to do a few papers for english, annotate some poems, and try to at least start on all my IB assignments (don’t even have a topic for EE yet ). College apps too but looks like I won’t have much time for those.

Ugh, my summer assignments have been on the back burner for the past month or so; I’ve been busy with SAT prep (ew junior year). I’m probably going to end up starting my work next week. I have to read a book and watch a documentary for English, read 2 articles for history, and do some prep work for chem. I can’t believe that summer is halfway over already.

Not exactly, I’m about 2/3 done, which is still kind of behind…

I procrastinate way too much, but I’m trying to keep a schedule. I’ve got APUSH, Hon. English, and Math Team. I also had summer school because I don’t have enough time in my schedule to actually do the classes during the school year. So that’s two classes I’ve already finished. I have to read four books, write 2 essays, do a ton of notecards, do flexpoints (does anyone else have these?), and do math homework. Honestly, I think it’s gonna be worse next summer. Usually I get really motivated to do it by listening to music and by just reminding myself that if I don’t do it, I’ll fail. Lol yep. So summer’s been fun.

One of the books for summer homework is the great gatsby (read last year and love it) but all I’ve done this summer is buy the dvd and watch it so yay for progress!!!

I finished Beowulf a few days ago, only took two days to read. Have to answer several questions with in-text citations for a discussion first day of glass. I think I also have to do a packet for Pre-Calc.

I’ve finished two of my summer reading books. That leaves two more to read, four pages of notes to take, and two chapter outlines…
This always happens haha

I just remembered that I have to watch over 30 videos for AP Spanish and write a summary on each one. Plus I have to relearn all of Spanish III and all of BC Calc in the next 2 weeks…

I don’t know if anyone else notices, but I have decided that about 75% of people who take challenging classes are procrastinators…

I have 4.5 chapters of chemistry left and 3.5 chapters of APUSH left to outline (Also have to write a few essays for English, but those should be relatively easy to finish.)

I’ve done my math packet and written 1/8 essay analysis. In addition to the other 7 essays, I still have summer reading and AP World work, so I’m behind. I’m also going on a vacation the week before school, so I have to finish before my vacation starts or it won’t be much of a vacation.
