Anybody else having the worst time in the world with their summer work?
Mine (APUSH and Lang) aren't even difficult; they're just tedious. I don't know how I haven't learned that procrastination only screws you over in the end.

Amen to that, so I have three weeks left of summer. I am halfway through APUSH and AP Econ summer work and I haven’t even started AP Lit. or Mandarin 3 HW, so I am definitely feeling what you are feeling. One of the things that I failed to realize at the beginning of summer was that I should use summer to relax between two very difficult school years, but instead I decided to try all these things(I originally planned on learning Spanish, selfstudying AP Psychology and AP Comparative Governments and study for the SAT) and I got overwhelmed and didn’t do any of it. So, my best advice(advice I’m still trying to take) is to just try and chip at what you have to do, only doing a little bit at a time.

You probably don’t have it as bad as me. I have 3 days to complete like 150 study questions for history, 50 short answer biology questions, write an essay, and practically teach myself trigonometry, lol.

I’m very unmotivated to do my AP Lit work. I have 500 pgs to read and 75 questions to answer in 3 weeks and I really just don’t want to do it. I keep finding better things to do, like working on the common app.

You can not just renounce, you must continue to study. For myself, I am studying constantly for my PSAT this October partially because I want to achieve NMSQT. It’s a uphill struggle but am not going to renounce my studying. I suggest to study for aleast 1hr that’s it or perhaps 45 minutes. Remember studying helps a lot.

I actually really want to do my APUSH work and get it over with, but I have to wait for the textbook to get here (and I was reluctant to get it earlier because it costs a lot). I also have to go to the library to get 1 out of my 3 summer reading books for AP Lang…
I got all my AP Chem work done (except for a few more problems) because I found a pdf of the textbook online. ;D
And for AP Calc AB, I don’t have any work (just remember important concepts).

I’ve actually done most of it, but then again, I’m only taking 2 next year as a sophomore. BC Calc wasn’t bad at all, and since I’m teaching myself precalc this summer, it was a nice little precalc/trig review. For AP Bio though, I’m done with the reading, but I still have to take a bunch of pictures representing vocab words, I’ve barely started, and I’m so unmotivated to finish b/c it’s so boring and I’m a terrible photographer LOL.
