I ordered Tuesday morning for my home and mom’s apartment with not difficult; received a confirmation email immediately. My aunt tried to order for mom, not knowing I had already done so; she received the message that the address had been used!
My husband ordered to his PO Box with ease. We are going to see the kids and grandkids next month; there are 8 of us, so these will be used in one weekend. The grands have to test often for preschool, so they need all the test they can get!
I did not get a confirmation email when I ordered a few days ago. I just tried to reorder and got the address already used error. That should mean I will get the tests. Wait and see…
I’m sure my postal delivery person will be overwhelmed when these start shipping. He is already working six days a week and covering 1-1/2 routes each day.
I ordered some from Colorado at Christmas. Same deal, with two boxes of 2 tests, free, and shipped to my home. I got a notice on a Monday saying I’d get them by USPS on Thursday. I got them on Tues by Amazon. Okay.
My sister has been getting 2 boxes just about every two weeks for months. She’s a teacher and knew about the program early in the fall. I work at a school so I signed up too. Only requirement is that if we test positive, we have to report it to the number they provide.
Amazon delivered my Washington state home kits the next day. They came even before my Walmart order stuck somewhere in the hinterland for the last week.
Washington also distributes kits at the libraries, mostly in the south end. I am glad since those areas have a high concentration of immigrants with limited access to computers.
Our state (CT) distributed their freebie tests by town. Each town handled distribution. None were ordered for mail delivery. It was pick up only (most places had a means for getting kits to folks who were unable to pick up).
There were a very limited number of these tests. Our town with over 6000 residents got 400 boxes.
