Anyone else still waiting? Lets share :)

Yes, we are able to put in his I’d and begin the process. The only one we were not able to do was parking permit. It said if we were a new employee or new student they had not gotten our records at this time. We are pretty certain that the My Record tab was not there as we were frequent visitors to the Howdy portal just to look for changes in the applicant section. Who knows though, maybe we missed it. We are just happy to see some changes on his AIS . . . At least we know he hasn’t been forgotten. We were beginning to wonder!!

Dear whatrchances,
I am certain that your son is in!!! My daughter’s “my record” tab appeared on a Monday and on Friday afternoon she was moved to step 6! I searched this site for anything about what the “my record” tab meant and could find nothing. So if it helps-----
Congratulations Early!!!

Yes I am able to register for a sports pass and meal plan as well. However, I am thinking I am able to do this because I was accepted into a&m Galveston. Whatrchances and street6: did your son and daughter apply to tamug also?

@Whatrchances

It looks like your boy is in

@Aggiegirl10

wouldnt Galveston have their on portal online site thing?

I have a My Record tab now. I’m not sure if it has always been there but I can buy sports pass and there is information on my Registration Status. I’m crossing my fingers.

whatrchances - are you calling admissions to ask what this meansor leaving it alone? Let us know if you get any more answers.

I did call the student center here in Houston and asked an admissions counselor. She was very vague and encouraged us to keep checking. She mentioned that they have been told not to say anything in case there was a mistake or glitch in the system. I did not feel discouraged after talking to her.

Oh yeah, he did not click to be considered for Galveston. He decided to take his chances on Blinn Team or getting in off of the waitlist.

My daughter did not apply to Texas A&M Galveston.
Aggiegirl— if you are in TAMUG–that is probably the reason for the “my record” tab.
I am very confident that whatrchances son is in!

Yes that is what we are thinking too

All the best. Please post if you get accepted on this thread.

We will do that . . . this waiting is KILLING us!!!

I didn’t have a “my Record” tab until after my Galveston acceptance, so I’m assuming it’s a possible sign, but not a definite one.

It’s a yes for me. Hooray!!! Good luck to everyone else!

Congrats! Did you just find out today through the step 6?

Yes, but that tab on the Howdy page came up last night so we were hoping!!

Still no change for me… This is dreadful & i’m stressing out. I’m worried about housing & searching for apartments when i haven’t even been accepted yet… Ugh… Congrats to ya’ll. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

My son had step 6 this afternoon around 2. He is in!!! The My Records tab was a big hint. Good Luck to all who are still waiting. This forum has been a HUGE help to us and we will continue to check back.

Sadiemay:

Have you thought about The Tradition for housing? We were able to get that about a month and a half ago. You can live there if you go to Blinn or A&M, at least you would have something. It is my understanding that on campus housing is full. Good Luck!! We are keeping our fingers crossed for all who are still waiting. The stress of it all is INSANE!!!

whatrchances - congratulations to you son and welcome to the aggie family!
