Anyone else taking CC courses over summer?

to free up GE?

not me, i'm in muir anyway

i'm going to soak up my last summer as a HS student and have some FUN.

:)

I want to. But I'm still not sure which ones I should take.... - -;;;;

I am taking at least 1 class this summer, they dont kill your summer as much as you might think, since most college classes dont have any or very little hw for weeks at a time. I would use assist.org to help you choose which classes to take and find out which transfer from your local CC (btw this is only for cali CCs)
to UCSD. I am going to take a class that will give me credit for Poli Sci 10 for GE credit.

Yeah same here. I'm thinking about online classes. They're so easy.

eh, some are easy, some are a waste of time, like philosophy online classes, since there really arent any discussions. I prefer to go to a classroom.

Yeah I might take another european class to get rid of that regional specialization crap. Perhaps another psychology class.

IRAN.4 are you in ERC? If so, which classes should i take over the summer to get rid of the ARTS, and Regional Specialization Requirements? Thanks in advance

yeah im ERC, take a history course that matched any of your AP courses you took (world, euro). for fine arts, they cant be online, although the transcript never does mention online or not, so just take intro to theater arts for online.

What if i did not take neither AP world nor Euro? You told me how to get rid of the fine arts, but how about regional specialization?

i heard medical schools do not want to see any cc courses...so yaa no cc classes for me

yeah maybe for the courses relating to your major

but not stuff like GE's

ok, would these courses satisfy the requirements for ARTS/REG. Spec. at ERC.????.Im taking these classes during summer at Southwestern College

FINe ARTS: American Popular Music, Latin American Dance, Intro to Modern Dance, or Intro to Theatre (im choosing two here)

Regional Spec. Asian american history (if im choosing americas/multiethnic u.s. as my region)

also, can i take two art classes at once, and get completely rid of my arts GE?

i know, its a hell lot of questions..but seriously CC is always helpful at dissipating my doubts. thanks a lot again

i think the answer is yes to all ur questions

also, in southwestern, the intro theater arts course is only 3 units. I was checking in the ERC website, and they ask for a 4-UNIT course...So then, what happens to the extra unit i need? Would they count this course at all, or just dismiss it?

ummmm how can u check the UNITS? assist.org or w/e right?

assist.org
