sigh, time to flip open campbell i guess… =/

hmm. interesante.

man. forte… i can’t follow his lecture… gahhh

sigh, bad day

overcooked my tri-tip and then i have to webcast like 10 of forte’s lectures :(

LOLOL this guy talks so slow it’s hard. gagag

going to lecture makes me worry for his health. i feel like he could keel over at any minute.

the solution is to not go to lecture then :D

HAHAHA jb I was worried about that like 30 minutes into the first lecture.

oh man, and when he was talking about the Na/K pumps…pointing to sodium while talking about potassium, and pointing to potassium while talking about sodium.

i’m gonna hate being old.

8042 is where his office hours are at. gg

i hate how we have to know stuff up to wednesday’s lecture…with the midterm being on friday.

hm, question:

which lecturer do you prefer? mike meighan or john forte?

they’re opposites basically. forte is old and slow and befuddled and puts you to sleep, meighan is young and fast and impatient and talks a million miles per second.

i would rather have mike because he keeps me awake. if i’m gonna take the effort to go to lecture, i would want to stay awake.

“meighan is young”
what is this i don’t even.

nevertheless, meighan is at least mildly amusing, despite the fact that I can still fall asleep during his lectures. forte is just game over.

Forte is the first and only person who has successfully put me to sleep even after drinking 2 cups of coffee…can’t wait for Fischer…

i hope fischer is a lot better… my god. i don’t understand a word coming out of forte’s mouth… oh boy

Don’t worry guys, Fischer is awesome! He’s a little bit soft spoken, but he does a good job lecturing and throws in a couple funny jokes here and there. His exams tend to be easy too, easier than Malkin’s and probably easier than Forte’s.

… oh boy. i hope so.

can someone clarify on the Na/K pumps…was he pointing at the wrong ones…? = = *** is it really…
cause both Na and K are positive… aren’t they? when they go out. they should make outside more positive and inside more negative, but the graph shows otherwise…

… i thought sodium gets pumped out and possium gets pumped in…

what the ff ?>

The Na/K pump pumps 3Na out for 2K in. The cell membrane is also more permeable to K than Na so more K leaks out in the same time period.

Don’t know if that answers your question since I’m not in Bio1A.
