Bad Things about Great Professors

I randomly thought of making this thread after Chem 3B this morning.

What peeves you about some of your better professors (past or present (or both if you've had the prof more than once))?

Pedersen: He goes to fast sometimes. I end up just copying what he writes and never mentally processing it until I do the problem set associated.

For Bio1B, i thought Feldman was really good, but sometimes he just wouldn't connect it to the big picture (or emphasize the connection to the big picture enough) and i'd have to figure that out by myself. but maybe that's cuz he assumed most students have some background in biology and i don't.

Frechet: His annoying random questions on his test.

Feldman: Introducing terms but not explaining them in bigger context. I agree w/ Mechrocket about connection of concepts.

Firestone: Exams are too easy and don't test your understanding of stuff. He also goes too slow in lecture, I would have liked to learn more.

what class does firestone teach?

damn, that's a cool last name, i wish i had it

Firestone teaches the Physiology portion of Bio1A in Spring usually. He also teaches some upperdivs on endocrinology
