marching band? you cant play oboe in marching band!

thats right, you cant :) i play piccolo in the marching band.. i think the oboe reed would kill me if i marched! i was a floutist first and play flute in the flute choir and the oboe in band/orchestra

i did once see a picture of an actual marching bassoon and it made me laugh so hard i cried.

im just using my yale essays....I have to write another for chicago and one for princeton, but thats about it. I've gone in cycles with my essays...first I thought they were really good...then I thought they were terrible...then I thought they were okay...now I'm liking one a lot and the other one is ehhh...hopefully yale will like them!!

hahahahaha a marching bassoon. wouldnt the reeds just break to easily while marching? (i play sax)

i dont know what they do about reeds.. you play alto, tenor or bari? i play alto in the jv jazz band. its such a fun intrument to play.

i play tenor, and yeah its fun. but being drum major is better :P

I marched clarinet freshman year...

drum major .... thats hott.

i like clarinets. they are my cousins. saxs arent really related at all, and bassoon are the second cousin twice removed.

bassoons are funny.

hehehe. oboes sit next to bassoons in the orchestra. my best friend plays. sometimes when she plays i start laughing because it sounds so odd.
