It records what your professors say and what you write down and downloads them onto your computer. Anyone think it's useful enough for me to pick up? It looks useful, but then again, I'd like to know if real people actually benefited from this.

i’ve never seen anyone use something like that. Most people just take notes with a normal writing utensil and paper, and it seems to do them just fine. Having something like that seems a bit excessive.

Amazing what technology can do. It will eventually render us incapable of simple tasks such as putting a pen to a piece of paper and writing notes. What’s next? A machine that’ll stuff our food down our throats?

For a variety of learning styles, the pen could be prudent to check out. You do need to invest $200 in the pen, and you must use the special notebooks that come with it ($5 for additionals)…however, in addition to recording the entire lecture, similar to a small tape recorder, the student can go back to a particular section of notes, ex. a mathematical equation, just tap the pen on the equation, and it will read back the entire explanation that the professor gave orally for that part only. If you are responsible with keeping track of the pen, it could be a newfound way for ADD or other learning styles to benefit from a repetition of the lesson with the benefit of the visual aspect of the notes in front of you…
